:'( today was SL Handover Day! :D
it was a GREAT success. met the 110 SLs at the start and gushed with them about hana yori dango and guides dance, because i cannot remember how the dance goes O.o seniors going to kill me!
and the prep for handover day involved slapping cheese onto the sandwiches, stabbing the sandwiches into four squares/triangles and slabbing tuna on the sandwiches :D SOUNDS SO APPETISING right? according to yixuan, 'it looks disgusting but tastes nice' so the sandwiches were still a success! (x i mean. PEOPLE ATE IT. that's wonderful. with much forcing from the term 2 SLs, no less :P
but in the end, it was fun(: our theme was rock&roll.
1. games!
- icebreaker involved going along with the beat of the rock song and beatboxing out your name and posing. it was an epic fail. it ended with the SLs just saying out their name -.-
- double whacko!
- twin towers. lots of running, esp bridget (X
- TREASURE HUNT! helped jolene cheat a bit :P
- broken telephone!
2. refreshments.
I LOVED SARAH'S APPLE SALAD.
-reminds myself to ask for sarah's apple salad recipe next time-
3. sharing session! FUN.
4. LUNCH. was the best.
but D; i found out pastamania food kind of sucked. i bought the vongole (youknow? the one with the clams), with a CREAM-base-sauce. which cost $8.80. and with the ice lemon tea, the meal cost $10.90! o_o the vongole would have been so nice, except for the fact that after i bought it, madeleine very kindly told me that vongoles are supposed to have a tomoto-base-sauce ._. what a waste of my precious $10.90.........
5. back to school! i totally felt like crying. O_O because our batch was the wonderfullest, funnest, awesomest batch ever!! -sighs happily- and our wonderful SLICs gave us personalized presents! -sighs happily again-
._. now. it's back to the boring school holidays. how am i going to last 3+ more weeks?!!
